Test run on OO track to ensure all is well Body removed (to prevent damage) and bogie sideframes unclipped to access axles Existing Bachmann wheels, bearings and gearwheel removed from axle and pressed onto a longer 2mm axle obtained from EMGS stores Tweak pick-ups, reinsert axles ensuring bearings locate fully into bogies and that pick-ups touch the back of the wheels Reassemble and test. Time taken: about 10 mins

One has a Parkside underframe, the bolsters are scratchbuilt Ex-GWR Fruit D built from a Parkside kit This mMainline LMS full brake has compensated MJT bogies - not my work I bought this on ebay in this condition This LMS GUV is a modified Lima model on replacement MJT bogies I have a bit of an obession with pre-nationalised parcel stock!
